Greek oregano is a hardy culinary herb with an instantly recognizable flavor. Used worldwide in Italian dishes, pizza sauces, or virtually anything you want to add a Mediterranean flavor to! Dries nicely so you can continue to use it in the kitchen all winter long.
Our 1 gallon oregano plants are grown outdoors in our house-made compost & vermicast mix using only sun and water. Also available dried in the fall.
Perennial in RVA
Drought tolerant and deer resistant.
Prefers full sun and well drained soil. Allow soil to dry between waterings. Mulch heavily in late fall.
Shrub-like with gray-green leaves. Dainty white flowers.
Dainty white flowers attract pollinators, plant will rebloom after cutting
